Duration of Study
            For those who have a B.Th. Degree, this program can be completed in two years. For those who have a degree other than B.Th., this program can be completed in three years. This program also accepts part time students taking a minimum of two courses or 6 units per semester. The maximum number of years that a student is allowed to complete this program is five years; those who need an extension can make a request to the seminary and will be considered on case to case basis.

Admission Procedure
1. A born-again Christian for at least four years as well as an active involvement in church ministry for a minimum of two years.
2. Has this specific pastoral gift of counseling as well as a confirmation of this gift from his ministry involvement.
3. Eager to take an active part in the Christian counseling ministry and accepts the Statement of Faith of Southeast Asia Bible Seminary.
4. A graduate of Bachelor of Theology or other field with a minimum of two years prior to the application and has a minimum GPA of 2.5.
5. Passes the Admission Test which includes English, general knowledge, Bible/theology, personality test, IQ test as well as the interview.
6. Aside from the above requirements, applicants have to do the following:

• Fill up completely the application form
• Fill up three recommendation forms, one from his church pastor/board member, one from a colleague, and another from a former teacher vouching for his academic aptitude. These three recommendations should be filled up by three people who know the applicant well and should be sent directly to the seminary by the person given the recommendation.
• Fill up the personal testimony form
• Fill up the form on financial support (with a letter from the applicant’s sponsor). If the applicant plans to financially support himself, he still has to fill this form up.
• Send with the other forms a physical examination form filled up by a medical doctor
• Send 3 copies of 4x6 cm current picture ID
