SEABS is located on a new campus in the Tidar Atas area in the city of Malang.  Malang is a city and also a regency in the province of east Java. Malang, which is 124,456 sq. km. and populated by about 800,000 people, is surrounded by several mountains which are tourist destinations. Several spots that are well-known are Batu by the slope of Mount Arjuna, Selecta on Mount Anjasmara, Pujon on the foot of Mount Kawi and also Tretes which is about an hour’s trip from Malang. Mount Bromo, one the main tourist attractions of East Java, can be reached in about 3 hours.

Malang is a relatively small city for having 40 colleges, universities and several theological schools. From the 800,000 dwellers, about 300,000 are students and 100,000 of which are college students. Malang is reputed to be and known as the city of learners.

The beautiful SEABS campus is vast, covering 6.5 hectares.  Integrated  buildings found across the campus include the men’s and women’s dormitories, the classroom building, the library building, the chapel, the computer lab complete with internet connections, athletic facilities, music rooms, preaching labs, counseling rooms, and the administrative building.
